We have two commencing intakes intakes per year, Semester 1 (February) and Semester 2 (August). Not all courses are available in both intakes, so please check your specific course for exact timelines. The dates below are the standard closing dates that apply to many of our courses. However, closing dates can vary, some courses can have earlier closing dates. Research degrees have separate research periods.
Refer to the UAC website for exact dates and times to submit your application and payment for each round. Note, applications to Sciences Po degrees and diplomas need to be made direct to the University, not through UAC. Find a course to check the specific closing date.

We accept applications for higher degree by research all year round. There are four research periods each year when you can start your study with us.

If you are an international student who needs to apply through the University Admissions Centre (UAC) for an Undergraduate degree, refer to the UAC website for key dates. The University generally participates in all the UAC international offer rounds. To determine whether you need to apply direct to the University or through UAC, check the how to apply information.
If you are applying for a Sciences Po Dual Degree, you need to apply directly to the University of Sydney, even if you are applying through UAC for your other preferences.
